Hitcontract is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer for our client, a global technology and business consulting company delivering digital solutions and large-scale software projects for international organisations.

We are looking for a strong Full Stack Engineer who enjoys working across both front-end and back-end development and has solid experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React .

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Design and develop back-end solutions using Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services
• Work with SQL databases and related technologies
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design to development, testing, and deployment
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders
• Contribute to improving development processes, code quality, and engineering practices
• Stay up to date with modern technologies and industry trends

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with:

• JavaScript / TypeScript

• Node.js

• React

• HTML / CSS

• SQL

• Strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development

• Experience working with modern web applications and REST APIs

• Good understanding of software development principles and practices

• Experience working in an Agile environment

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Good command of English

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Message Brokers
• Experience with ORM technologies
• Experience with GraphQL
• Knowledge of Vanilla JavaScript
• Understanding of V8
• Experience or interest in WebAssembly
• Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns
