What You'll Do

• Collaborate with experienced engineers to explore technical challenges, evaluate solutions, and drive thoughtful engineering decisions.
• Participate in occasional meetings with clients and external stakeholders as needed to discuss technical requirements, share engineering insights and collaborate on potential solutions
• Bring your expertise and perspective to software architecture, system design, and development strategies.
• Contribute to a culture of technical excellence through open communication, constructive feedback, and knowledge sharing.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to real-world engineering challenges.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, modern development practices, and evolving industry standards.
• Help foster an environment where engineers support one another, challenge assumptions, and continuously improve.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, system architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or C#.
• Experience working with cross-functional or distributed engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to discuss technical concepts clearly and thoughtfully.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and strong independent problem-solving skills.
• Comfort collaborating in a remote-first environment.
• Genuine enthusiasm for technology, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and professionally with both internal teams and external stack-holders including clients when needed

Compensation and Work Arrangement

We offer a flexible, part-time opportunity designed for experienced engineers who value meaningful collaboration and the freedom to manage their schedules.

• Hourly compensation: $40–$80 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Paid participation: Compensation includes time spent in scheduled client meetings and interviews.
• Flexible schedule: Part-time hours with flexibility to accommodate other professional commitments.
• Work location: Primarily remote within the United States, with occasional office visits as needed.
