Senior Software Engineer, Product Platform

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer Product Platform to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $135,000 – $160,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable systems and shared libraries for engineering teams
• Collaborate with product engineering to create clean, documented APIs
• Lead technical decisions influencing architecture and developer experience
• Establish engineering standards for shared components
• Engage in code reviews and design discussions to elevate engineering quality
• Document systems and libraries to support ease of use and contribution
• Contribute to the company’s engineering culture during growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend or fullstack software engineering experience
• Experience building shared APIs or platform components for multiple teams
• Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable code
• Curiosity and openness to using AI to enhance work effectiveness
