SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER – PYTHON / FULL STACK

ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python backend development and full-stack engineering. The ideal candidate will have proven experience building scalable applications, REST APIs, microservices, and high-performance React.js applications (Mandatory). Strong communication, stakeholder management, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python, Django, FastAPI and/or Flask.  Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices; develop responsive frontend applications using React.js, JavaScript and TypeScript.  Participate in architecture, technical decisions, code reviews, testing, performance optimization, and security improvements.  Collaborate with product, design, QA, engineering, and global stakeholders; troubleshoot complex technical issues.  Mentor junior developers, demonstrate technical ownership, and manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and delivery timelines. MANDATORY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 8+ years professional software development • Strong Python • React.js (MANDATORY) • Django/FastAPI/Flask • JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML5/CSS3 • REST APIs & microservices • SQL & NoSQL • Git, CI/CD & Agile • AWS/GCP/Azure exposure • Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving and communication skills. AI-ASSISTED SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT – REQUIRED Hands-on experience with Claude / Claude Code or similar AI coding assistants. Ability to use AI for coding, debugging, refactoring, testing, documentation, code review, and delivery acceleration. Must be able to critically review, validate, secure, test, and improve AI-generated code using sound engineering judgment. Experience building personal projects or prototypes using Claude Code/AI-assisted workflows is highly preferred. EDUCATION Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
