Senior Software Systems Engineer, Autonomous Systems Validation Confidence

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Systems Engineer, Autonomous Systems Validation Confidence to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will focus on building scalable ways to measure validation confidence across simulations and real-world testing for autonomous systems. You will develop tools, data pipelines, and measurable frameworks that help translate ambiguous validation questions into clear requirements, experiments, and decision-ready metrics. The position will partner closely with cross-functional engineering teams to improve validation workflow efficiency, strengthen simulation credibility, and communicate technical findings with precision.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $153,200 – $234,100 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable methods for measuring validation confidence in simulations and real-world testing.
• Build tools and data pipelines for test execution and analysis.
• Evaluate simulation validity and predictive power using measurable criteria.
• Translate validation claims into requirements, experiments, and metrics.
• Enhance the efficiency and quality of validation workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clearly communicate findings.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or a similar language, with a focus on writing clear, testable code.
• Experience applying engineering or quantitative methods to physical or cyber-physical systems.
• Ability to convert ambiguous validation questions into measurable requirements and experiments.
• Skill in collaborating across disciplines and conveying technical results accurately.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
