Senior Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Armia Systems is looking for skilled Senior Software Test Engineers to join our growing Testing Team. You will own the quality of our products end-to-end from requirement analysis through release while working closely with developers and product managers in an Agile environment. This is not a checkbox-testing role: we want engineers who think critically, break things creatively, and care deeply about the user experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the testing team, including task allocation and coordination.
• Guide and mentor junior QA engineers, ensuring effective execution of testing activities.
• Coordinate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain quality standards.
• Monitor team progress, review testing activities, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Job Specification

• Design, develop, and execute test cases.
• Lead and manage the entire team by delegating tasks, coordinating with team members and junior team members, providing guidance, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
• Mobile app testing is mandatory, Should have experience in testing 3-4 mobile apps including iOS and Android.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products/projects to meet client needs.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
• Monitor debugging process results.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
• Experience in QA methodology.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
