Senior Software Test Engineer

Your main responsibilities would be:

Collaboration & Quality Analysis

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, data flows, mappings, and quality expectations.
• Review and provide feedback on functional specifications, technical requirements, data mappings, and end-user documentation from a quality assurance perspective.
• Participate in estimation, planning, and prioritization activities for both manual and automated testing efforts.

Test Design & Data Preparation

• Create, maintain, and optimize test data within a Dynamics 365-based ERP environment to support manual validation, regression testing, and automated test execution.
• Design, create, and maintain reusable test assets, including test cases, validation queries, test datasets, and regression test scenarios.
• Manage and continuously improve the test case library by identifying coverage gaps and creating new test scenarios where needed.

Data Validation & Functional Testing

• Validate data across source systems, integration layers, and target platforms using SQL and other data validation techniques.
• Verify data accuracy, completeness, consistency, integrity, and transformation logic throughout the data lifecycle.
• Validate new feature implementations and defect fixes delivered on Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake platforms.
• Execute manual and automated test scenarios, analyze results, and identify, document, and track defects, data quality issues, and application inconsistencies.

Test Automation & Quality Governance

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of automated testing capabilities within the team.
• Administer and maintain test execution activities and test artifacts within the team's quality management tools.
• Contribute to improving test coverage, validation methodologies, quality assurance processes, and the overall reliability of data pipelines and delivered solutions.
• Promote quality best practices and proactively identify opportunities to enhance testing efficiency, effectiveness, and product quality.

What we expect from you:

• College or University degree in Information Technology / Economics Finance/accounting or production/logistics software knowledge is a great advantage
• 3+ years of experience in software testing
• Fluent English is required both oral and written
• Experience in the development of Test Plans, Test Case and Test Reports
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and the ability to analyze and validate complex data transformation logic.
• Ability to understand and interpret data mappings, transformation rules, and business logic documentation.
• Experience validating data against source-to-target mapping specifications and business requirements.
• Ability to analyze and understand complex data flows and transformation processes.
• Experience in data validation and data quality testing.
• Experience working with cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Computer skills including use of MS productivity tools and Test Management, Software packages (SPIRA, TFS, Azure DevOps, RSAT experience is a great advantage)
• Ability to define optimal test coverage while keeping delivery deadlines in mind
• Solid understanding of testing principles
