Senior Solution Architect

NTT Data are seeking a Senior Solution Architect with deep expertise in enterprise network and infrastructure environments to play a key role in one of Western Australia's most significant technology modernisation initiatives.

• Initial contract to end of Jan 2027 with 2 month extension
• Hybrid work environment – 3 days per week onsite

This position will suit an experienced architect who has successfully delivered architecture outcomes within large, complex government, healthcare or highly regulated environments, and who is equally comfortable reviewing detailed technical designs as they are presenting to governance boards and senior stakeholders.

You'll work across a broad ecosystem of internal delivery teams, managed service providers, vendors and program stakeholders to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient and aligned with strategic objectives.

As a senior member of the Architecture Practice, you will provide architecture leadership, governance, design assurance and risk management across multiple streams of delivery

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review and govern architectural artefacts including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), standards, patterns and reference architectures
• Review and challenge solution designs to ensure alignment with architecture principles, target-state roadmaps and operational requirements
• Provide design assurance across network, infrastructure and service transition initiatives
• Assess and manage architectural risks, dependencies, assumptions and issues
• Participate in Architecture Review Boards, Design Authority forums and technical governance committees
• Support delivery teams through technical reviews, architecture assessments and implementation planning
• Review infrastructure and facilities designs including network topology, fibre connectivity, rack layouts, power and site infrastructure requirements
• Evaluate technical change requests, architecture exceptions and solution variations
• Develop governance artefacts including standards, policies, roadmaps and risk assessments
• Work closely with vendors, managed service providers, project teams and senior stakeholders to drive successful delivery outcomes
• Provide architecture reporting, technical risk assessments and recommendations to program leadership

About You

You will bring:

• Experience within government, health, utilities, emergency services or other highly regulated environments
• Extensive experience as a Solution Architect, Infrastructure Architect or Network Architect within large enterprise environments
• Strong expertise across enterprise networking, infrastructure services, data centres, connectivity and service transition
• Proven experience reviewing and assuring HLDs, LLDs and complex technical solution designs
• Strong understanding of architecture governance, design authority processes and risk management
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working across multiple vendors, managed service providers and delivery partners
• Exposure to large transformation programs, infrastructure refresh initiatives or multi-site technology deployments
• Knowledge of architecture and governance frameworks such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, COBIT, Essential Eight, MSP and related industry standards
• Experience supporting geographically distributed environments across metropolitan, regional and remote locations
