What You'll Architect This role is at the core of designing enterprise-level intelligence systems. You define how data platforms, governance, and architecture come together to enable scalable decision-making.

• Define and deliver data architecture strategies aligned with client business objectives
• Design end-to-end solution architectures across data platforms, data warehousing, analytics, and MDM
• Build conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting enterprise analytics and reporting
• Act as the bridge between business and IT, translating requirements into scalable architectural solutions
• Define standards, frameworks, and governance models for data and platform architecture
• Design and guide cloud data strategies, including migrations to Azure or AWS environments
• Ensure alignment between data integration, modelling, and consumption layers
• Guide delivery teams by defining processes, deliverables, and architectural best practices
• Contribute to enterprise data governance, metadata management, and data quality strategies
• Drive architectural consistency across projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability

What You Bring Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture or advanced data engineering / BI roles
• Proven experience in designing enterprise-level data architectures
• Professional working proficiency in Dutch and English

Technical & Architectural Skills

• Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling
• Experience with data warehousing, big data, and analytics architectures
• Knowledge of MDM, metadata management, and data governance principles
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure or AWS)
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration patterns
• Understanding of architectural frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
• Knowledge of modern data approaches such as data virtualization and logical data warehousing
• Broad awareness of the data and analytics technology landscape

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in large-scale transformation programs
• Exposure to AI / advanced analytics architectures
• Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid environments
