Senior Solution Architect

Must Have Skills:

Solution Architect/Designer who is comfortable working with AIA/ACDs, can operate independently with ISG and

project teams and can navigate the required governance forums.

 Lead end-to-end solution design for International Payments initiatives and transformation programs.

 Design API-based and event-driven integrations across banking and payment ecosystems.

 Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient solution designs.

 Create and maintain High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), interface specifications, and data

flow models.

 Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Development Teams, and Vendor partners.

 Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and regulatory requirements.

 Evaluate solution options and provide recommendations balancing business needs and technical constraints.

 Support delivery teams throughout the development, testing, and implementation lifecycle.

 Drive solution governance, design reviews, and technical decision-making.

 Deep knowledge of:

o International Payments

o Cross-Border Payments

o SWIFT Payments

o SWIFT MT/MX Messaging

o ISO 20022

API & Integration Architecture

 Strong hands-on experience designing:

o REST APIs

o Microservices Architectures

o Event-Driven Architectures

o API Gateway Solutions

 Proven experience in:

o Integration Solution Design

o Data Modelling and Mapping

o API Design Standards

o Security and Non-Functional Requirements

o System and Application Integration

Nice to Have Skills:

Hands-on experience with:

o FGPP Payment Processing Flows

o Payment Routing Configuration

o Settlement and Reconciliation

o SWIFT Integration

o Interface and Channel Integration

o Product Configuration and Customisation

 Experience in Tier-1 banking environments.

 Exposure to payment modernisation programs.

 Experience supporting migration from legacy payment platforms.

 Knowledge of payment regulations and compliance requirements.

 Experience with FIS Global Payments Plus (FGPP) is highly desirable.
