ElevationHR is recruiting an experienced Senior Solutions Architect for a confidential, established organization investing in cloud modernization, data platforms, and enterprise technology solutions.

In this hands-on leadership role, you'll own solution architecture across key business initiatives, working closely with software engineers, data engineers, platform architects, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for cloud, software, data, and analytics initiatives, from requirements through implementation.
• Translate enterprise platform architecture and business objectives into actionable technical designs, integration patterns, and delivery plans.
• Design and guide solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , including cloud networking, infrastructure connectivity, and enterprise integration.
• Partner with software engineers, data engineers, data analysts, and platform engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and support successful implementation.
• Drive architectural decisions, manage technical dependencies, evaluate trade-offs, and proactively advance assigned solution delivery workstreams.
• Collaborate with business leaders, technical stakeholders, and external consulting partners to align technology solutions with operational objectives.
• Evaluate solution scalability, reliability, security, and integration requirements throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Contribute to cloud and data modernization initiatives, incorporating Databricks and AI engineering capabilities where applicable.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of professional solution architecture experience , including demonstrated ownership of complex technical solutions from design through implementation. Equivalent architecture responsibilities performed under related technical titles will be considered.
• 3+ years of hands-on, production experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , including cloud infrastructure, IAM, networking, and enterprise cloud services.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent education and directly relevant experience may be considered.
• Strong software engineering or software development background , with an understanding of application architecture and technical implementation.
• Experience working across cloud engineering, software development, data engineering, analytics, and infrastructure teams.
• Proven ability to independently drive architecture decisions, resolve technical challenges, and coordinate implementation across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills , including the ability to collaborate with business leaders and external consulting partners.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Databricks or enterprise cloud data platforms.
• Exposure to AI engineering, AI-enabled applications, or AI solution implementation.
• Experience designing integrated data and analytics solutions across multiple technology environments.
• Experience delivering solutions within regulated or operationally complex organizations.

• Contract Structure: 1099 independent contractor engagement. Third-party Corp-to-Corp arrangements are not accepted.
• Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Relocation: Relocation assistance is not provided. Candidates outside the Houston area must be willing to relocate at their own expense and meet the hybrid work requirements.
