Senior Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales, Public Sector)

Our client is looking for candidate to join their professional services team in Hong Kong and working in close partnership with Sales, Product, Technical Support, and R&D. The selected candidate will collaborate with talented colleagues both locally and globally to deliver meaningful customer outcomes and drive the continued growth of the business.

Responsibilities:

·       Partner with the sales team to define and execute a tailored technical sales strategy for each opportunity

·       Prepare and deliver compelling solution presentations to stakeholders at all levels within the prospect’s organization

·       Lead discovery workshops to uncover customer requirements, pain points, and critical business challenges

·       Develop solution blueprints and architectures, maintain the technical vision, and clearly articulate how the solution addresses both technical and business needs

·       Lead architecture discussions and influence prospects on topics such as performance, scalability, API management best practices, security, and topology

·       Design and deliver high-impact solution demonstrations

·       Plan, coordinate, and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs), including defining use cases and success criteria

·       Contribute technical and product content for RFP responses

·       Represent the company through technical presentations at trade shows, conferences, and marketing events

·       Support solution implementation, working independently or collaboratively with solution consultants, cloud engineers, R&D, partners, and customer technical teams

Requirements:

·       Bachelor Holder or above in Computer Science or equivalent

·       At least 5 years post-qualification working experience and 1 year of similar capacity

·       Solid experience in technology roles, ideally within a software or solutions vendor environment

·       Solid knowledge across key IT domains, including integration, cloud, UX, and business processes

·       Solid hands-on experience designing and deploying API Management solutions

·       Familiarity with DevOps practices and processes for digital business environments

·       Solid understanding of major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)

·       Knowledge of hybrid integration platforms

·       Strong grasp of architectural principles for cloud and hybrid systems, including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, security, and elastic scaling

·       Solid experience with cloud and on-premises infrastructure, Kubernetes containerization, security, scaling, monitoring, alerting, messaging patterns, integration patterns, and microservices

·       Solid experience with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
