Senior Solutions Engineer

Milestone is a fast-growing AI engineering intelligence company, helping enterprises measure AI spend, agents and engineering ROI across their organizations. We’re a 20-person team building at the intersection of data, AI, and product analytics, and we’re looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to play a key role in our customer-facing technical efforts.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role suited for someone who enjoys working closely with customers while diving deep into technical problem-solving in a startup environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead technical demos and product deep-dives during sales cycles and for paying customers post-sale
• Act as the technical bridge between customers and R&D, performing initial investigations of customer-reported issues
• Provide occasional Tier 3 support for complex or escalated cases
• Own and implement customer-facing analytics tools, including configuring Apache Superset connected directly to our datalake
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable solutions
• Help shape technical processes and best practices in a small, fast-moving team

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, etc.)
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and comfort working across data, APIs, and integrations
• Experience implementing or configuring BI / analytics tools (e.g., Superset, Looker, Tableau)
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in a startup environment with broad responsibilities
