Salary range - 180,000-250,000

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a publicly listed enterprise software business that is expanding its presence across the global insurance market.

Its next-generation finance platform is experiencing significant growth, with annual recurring revenue increasing approximately 70% year over year and pipeline value growing approximately 65% .

They are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to play a leading role in some of their largest and most complex insurance transformation opportunities.

This is a strategic presales position with responsibility extending far beyond product demonstrations. You will partner closely with Sales throughout the deal cycle, helping define solution strategy, architecture, business cases and commercial approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution strategy across complex enterprise insurance opportunities
• Partner with Sales to shape and progress large, multi-year transformation deals
• Design solutions across complex insurance finance and enterprise architectures
• Lead demonstrations, workshops and POCs for senior stakeholders
• Support transformation programmes across life insurance, P&C and reinsurance
• Lead technical and regulatory elements of complex RFPs
• Build business cases and value propositions for large enterprise customers
• Engage with CFOs, Chief Actuaries and senior Finance and Transformation leaders
• Support discussions across IFRS 17, insurance accounting, actuarial reporting, claims, reserving and regulatory reporting
• Work with consulting and implementation partners on joint opportunities
• Provide senior-level input into deal qualification, risk and commercial strategy
• Support the transition of complex opportunities from presales into delivery

Requirements

• Experience within the insurance industry , either directly or through selling/consulting into insurance carriers
• Strong background in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Presales, Solution Architecture or Finance Transformation
• Experience supporting complex enterprise software or transformation deals
• Strong understanding of insurance finance and accounting processes
• Knowledge of areas such as IFRS 17, US GAAP, Solvency II, actuarial reporting, claims, reserving or reinsurance accounting
• Strong solution and enterprise architecture capabilities
• Experience with complex RFPs, demonstrations and business cases
• Comfortable engaging with executive and C-suite stakeholders
• Strong commercial mindset with experience partnering directly with enterprise Sales teams
• MEDDPICC or comparable enterprise qualification experience is beneficial

Nice to Have

• Experience working with global insurers or Tier 1 carriers
• Experience working alongside major consulting or systems integration partners
• Accounting, actuarial or insurance qualifications
• Experience influencing product or go-to-market strategy within insurance
