Job Responsibilities

1. Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors locally and internationally.
2. Source for new supplier, follow customer’s specification for competitive price.
3. Required to request at least 3 quotations for price comparison.
4. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
5. Control purchasing costs, analyze price trends, and contribute to budgeting efforts.
6. Work closely with relevant departments to ensure products purchased are in line with the needs of the company.
7. Regularly assess vendor performance based on quality, service, delivery, and compliance.
8. Conducting product research, cost and scenario analysis, benchmarking, and market research.
9. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and supply chain improvement
10. Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
11. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
12. Perform any other duties assigned by superiors when it is deemed necessary from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required.
3. Good written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
4. Good knowledge of supplier sourcing practices.
5. Ability to work in a team environment.
6. In-depth knowledge of purchasing functions.
7. Understanding of supply chain procedures.
8. Solid analytical skills, with the ability to conduct cost analyses.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
