Senior Sourcing Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement

• Formulate and execute procurement strategies aligned with the company’s vision and objectives, specifically for electric vehicle operations
• Monitor industry and market trends to identify cost efficiencies and mitigate supply chain risks related to EV buses and charging infrastructure
• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with suppliers and vendors to secure reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective supply sources
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with applicable legal, environmental, and regulatory requirements

Supplier Management

• Evaluate, select, and onboard suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness within the EV & Automotive ecosystem
• Conduct regular supplier performance assessments and maintain an updated database of approved vendors
• Address and resolve supplier issues promptly, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration between stakeholders

Operational Efficiency

• Oversee end-to-end procurement operations to guarantee timely delivery of materials and services critical to EV bus operations
• Continuously optimize procurement workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize bottlenecks
• Partner with internal teams such as operations, engineering, and finance to forecast demand and synchronize procurement plans accordingly.

Budget & Cost Management

• Manage procurement budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and company policies
• Lead contract negotiations to achieve favorable terms and pricing aligned with organizational profitability goals
• Implement and monitor cost-control initiatives to improve overall value and financial performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred
• Proven experience (6+ years) in procurement or strategic sourcing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in the automotive or electric vehicle sectors
• Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers for four-wheeler electric vehicles and EV charging infrastructure is highly desirable
• Expertise in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data to drive strategic decisions
• Advanced contract management and negotiation proficiency
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Results-oriented problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
