Senior Spa Therapist

About The Role

Part-time or full-time – hours designed around the right person

We're looking for an experienced therapist to become an important part of our small, personal spa at Merchants Manor.

The Linen Rooms isn't a large, high-volume spa. We have just two treatment rooms, which means we're looking for someone who enjoys giving guests genuine individual attention and takes real pride in delivering exceptional treatments.

This could be an ideal role for an experienced therapist who wants more flexibility and less of the conveyor-belt feeling of a large spa.

The role

You'll deliver a range of massage, facial and body treatments while helping us create a warm, calm and highly personal experience for our hotel guests, spa visitors and members.

We're looking for someone who is:

• An experienced and confident therapist
• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Excellent at massage and body treatments
• Warm, professional and genuinely guest-focused
• Comfortable working independently
• Interested in wellness and developing our treatment offering
• Happy to work weekends

The bit that's different

We're flexible.

We don't want to lose a brilliant therapist because they can't fit into a traditional five-day rota.

If you want three days a week, school-friendly hours, longer days with fewer shifts, or a mixture of hours, talk to us.

The one thing we do need is some weekend availability, as this is when our guests particularly want treatments.

In return, you'll be joining a small independent hotel where you can get to know your guests, have a voice in how the spa develops and be much more than simply the next therapist on the rota.

If you're an experienced therapist looking for a role where you can deliver great treatments while still having some flexibility in your life, we'd really like to hear from you.

About Us

Merchants Manor is an independently owned boutique hotel in Falmouth, Cornwall, built around a simple idea: hospitality should feel personal, thoughtful and full of character.

We are not a large corporate hotel and we do not want to operate like one. Our guests choose us because they want individuality, genuine care, great food and drink, beautiful surroundings and a team that notices the details.

Every role at Merchants Manor contributes to that experience. Whether you work in housekeeping, the kitchen, reception, maintenance, food and beverage, spa, management or behind the scenes, what you do directly affects how a guest feels about their stay.

We believe in high standards without unnecessary formality. We want people who take pride in their work, support the people around them, solve problems, communicate clearly and care about doing things properly.

We are continually evolving the business and investing in the future of Merchants Manor. That means creating new experiences, improving what we already do and giving talented people the opportunity to grow with us.

Above all, we are a hospitality business built around people. Our aim is to create a place where guests genuinely want to return and where good people are proud to work.
