✍️ WHAT WILL YOU DO?

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and talented professional to join our Datastores Managed Services team and perform the following responsibilities :

• Maintain the client’s SQL Server infrastructure and ensure its reliability and correct operation.
• Monitor, analyze and resolve SQL Server incidents and recurring technical problems.
• Perform performance tuning and database optimization activities.
• Identify and propose technical and operational improvements.
• Create and update runbooks for the operational team.
• Contribute to incident reduction and service stability.
• Participate in shift coverage and the weekly on-call rotation.

💻 WHAT (TECHNOLOGIES/METHODOLOGIES/TOOLS) WILL YOU USE?

• Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Engine.
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Performance tuning and query/database optimization.
• SQL Server troubleshooting and problem analysis.
• Azure technologies are considered an advantage.
• ITIL practices and operational runbooks.

🧐 WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SQL Server database administration or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience in SQL Server troubleshooting, performance tuning and optimization.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server Engine, SSIS and SSRS.
• English: advanced level (C1), both spoken and written.
• Spanish: native or bilingual level (C2).
• SQL Server certification is desirable.
• ITIL certification and experience with Azure technologies are desirable.

📅 WHERE AND WHEN?

• Workplace: Hybrid in Spain (up to 40% remote work).
• Work schedule: Shifts between 07:00 and 23:00 CET, plus weekly on-call rotation.
