Senior SQL Server DBA / Database Engineer (k/m/n)

Wymagania

• Monitor and optimize SQL Server performance across customer production environments
• Identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks
• Optimize SQL queries, indexes and database performance
• Define and enforce standards for database migrations and migration scripts
• Review migration scripts prepared by development teams before production releases
• Set up and interpret database performance monitoring to proactively identify potential issues
• Analyze how application code and ORM layers impact database performance
• Support SQL Server environments hosted both in Azure and on-premises/customer-hosted infrastructure
• Work closely with an international development team on database changes and release readiness
• Use AI tools to support query analysis, schema review, migration script review and performance diagnostics

Oczekujemy

• 10+ years of professional experience in SQL Server DBA / Database Engineering
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server
• Extensive experience with database migration tools, processes and migration scripts
• Advanced knowledge of query optimization and index optimization
• Strong experience diagnosing performance issues in production environments
• Experience implementing and working with proactive database performance monitoring
• Good understanding of ORM and how application code can generate database load
• Experience with Azure-hosted SQL Server environments
• Experience with on-premises or customer-hosted SQL Server instances
• Practical experience using AI tools for query analysis, schema review, migration scripts or performance diagnostics
• English at C1 level
• Ability to work independently, define technical standards and establish processes for other engineering teams
