Be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining highly available, scalable, and secure cloud-native platforms.

Define and track SLOs/SLIs, drive incident management, and automate away toil to ensure the utmost reliability of our services.

Key Responsibilities Reliability & Architecture: Design, develop, implement, and update the cloud platform/product to ensure maximum availability, quality, and scalability. Justify reliability practices and architectural approaches.

SLO & SLA Management: Define, measure, and monitor Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to ensure SLA compliance and drive reliability improvements.

DevOps & Automation: Design and implement continuous deployment pipelines (CI/CD) and DevOps toolchains for both infrastructure and application services. Automate operational tasks to eliminate toil.

Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Act as a key escalation point for production issues. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical problems; coordinate with development teams to streamline code deployment and recovery.

Cloud Infrastructure & Migration: Manage MS Azure & Tencent Cloud PaaS services. Lead the assessment, scheduling, and execution of lift-and-shift migrations from on-premise to public cloud environments.

Observability & Resilience: Build and maintain comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging systems. Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability; proactively identify single points of failure.

Process & Documentation: Plan, produce, and update related technical documentation, runbooks, and training materials. Investigate user needs to improve service operability. Align operations with ITSM/ITIL processes.

Qualifications Experience: At least 5 years of experience in IT, Cloud Computing, or Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps roles.

Cloud Platforms: Deep know-how in MS Azure & Tencent Cloud PaaS/IaaS services deployment, configuration, and orchestration.

Containers & Orchestration: Expert knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/K8s) deployment and management.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficient in developing CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure using code. Hands-on experience with deployment tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Familiar with DevOps toolsets (e.g., Concourse, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory).

Networking & Security: Strong expertise in cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, security rules, and IAM.

Databases: Know-how in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud databases (RDBMS like MySQL/PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL), including backup and restore procedures.

Web & App Servers: Experience with web servers and application servers like Nginx.

Programming & Scripting: Familiarity with automation programming languages such as Python, Shell, etc.

ITSM & ITIL: General understanding of ITSM processes, toolsets, and ITIL service management criteria across IT services and support. Familiar with IT testing procedures, versioning, and deployment processes.

Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical problems to clients, third-parties, and cross-functional teams. Fluent in both English and Chinese (written and spoken).

Nice To Have (Plus) Connected car or IoT experience is a significant plus.

Experience with Chaos Engineering or resilience testing.

Relevant Cloud Certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect).
