Senior SRE / Software Engineer - Internal Developer Platform - Permanent role

The client is a well-known international software publisher. Their engineering

organization depends on a set of platforms and services: the systems

developers use to file and track work, review and land code, and build, test,

and ship the product automatically.

The team owns and operates that toolchain end to end — the services

themselves, the integrations between them, and the tooling that lets developers

declare, from their own source repositories, what automation they want and what

each repository is allowed to do.

Your mission

- Own and improve the various services, making sure it meets

developer expectations and delivers a best-in-class experience.

- Rework and modernize the components that depend on it.

- Work across the other systems the team runs — bug tracker, code-review and

release pipelines, build and test automation, supporting internal tooling.

- Proactively identify friction, reliability gaps, and technical debt across

these systems, and drive them to resolution.

- Align the team around these objectives.

The client is looking to hire for a permanent contract (not a contract with Exiptel or freelance)

We're looking for a strong software developer with solid SRE experience —

someone who writes and ships production code, not only operates it, and who is

comfortable being the person who figures out why something is broken.

Required

- 8+ years in software engineering / SRE roles.

- Strong background with GitHub (APIs, Apps, permissions models), containerized

services, and automation tooling.

- Comfortable owning several systems at once and moving between projects as

priorities shift.

- Self-directed: able to spot a problem, scope it, and fix it without waiting to

be assigned.

- Good written communication and the ability to coordinate a distributed team.

Strong plus

- Experience operating large or very large infrastructure, or a track record at

a Big Tech company.

- Experience building or maintaining developer-facing tooling: bug trackers,

code-review systems, release pipelines.

Working hours must overlap a band between PST (San Francisco) and Central Europe.
