Senior Staff Full-Stack Engineer (Remote Eligible)

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Staff Full-Stack Engineer (Remote Eligible) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will help shape the technical direction of a large-scale technology organization, with a focus on building and modernizing platforms that support enterprise-grade financial services. You will partner closely with technology leaders to define standards, improve architecture, and strengthen the scalability and operability of core systems. The position requires both hands-on technical depth and the ability to influence design decisions across teams. It is well suited for someone who can translate complex challenges into practical solutions and guide others toward durable engineering outcomes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $286,200 – $326,700 annually

Responsibilities

• Articulate and advocate for a bold technical vision
• Decompose complex problems into practical solutions
• Ensure quality of technical design and implementation
• Serve as an expert on system performance, scalability, and operability
• Mentor within the tech community to enhance technical expertise
• Drive modernization of systems into microservice architectures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• 9+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture
• Expertise in enterprise architecture and design patterns
• Proficiency in cloud computing, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience in data architecture
