Job Summary

Dr. Humayun Speciality Hospital is looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Staff Nurse to provide high-quality patient care, supervise nursing staff, and ensure adherence to hospital policies and clinical standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical knowledge, leadership skills, and a patient-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients.
• Assess, monitor, and document patients' health conditions accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
• Supervise and guide junior nursing staff and support their clinical development.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control protocols, and patient safety standards.
• Maintain accurate nursing records and patient documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Monitor and maintain medical equipment and nursing supplies.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to medical emergencies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, training programs, and hospital accreditation activities.

Requirements

• B.Sc. Nursing or GNM with a valid Nursing Council Registration.
• 5–8 years of clinical nursing experience in a reputed hospital.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights if required.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and patient safety standards.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience with hospital documentation systems.
