Senior Static Equipment Engineer

Senior Static Equipment Engineer | Qatar

We are looking for a Senior Static Equipment Engineer to support major capital projects within an Ammonia & Urea complex.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead static equipment engineering from concept/FEED through detailed engineering, procurement and execution.
• Handle pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, reactors, tanks, filters and other pressure equipment.
• Develop and review equipment datasheets, specifications, design calculations and requisition packages.
• Conduct technical evaluation of vendor bids and support equipment procurement.
• Review vendor drawings, calculations, material certificates, ITPs and other technical documentation.
• Resolve technical queries related to equipment design, materials and fabrication.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, vendors and consultants.
• Support HAZOP, SIL and process safety reviews related to static equipment.
• Maintain engineering standards, specifications and lessons learned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–12 years of relevant Static Equipment Engineering experience.
• Experience in Ammonia, Urea, Fertilizer, Petrochemical or Process Plant projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII and relevant API standards.
• Experience in FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, Technical Bid Evaluation and vendor document review.
• Familiarity with PV Elite, AutoCAD and/or CAESAR II.
• API 510/570/653 certification is an advantage.
• Project management experience and SME capability are highly desirable.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.

Location: Qatar

Pay: QAR20,000.00 - QAR30,000.00 per month
