About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to lead our structural engineering team.

The ideal candidate must come from a consultancy background and have specific, proven experience in the design of educational facilities (Schools) . You will be responsible for leading the design of complex RCC and steel structures from concept through to detailed design and construction support.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the structural design of RCC and steel buildings from concept to detailed design.
• Perform structural analysis and modeling using ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000.
• Working knowledge of Revit (BIM modeling and coordination).
• Prepare and review design calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
• Develop concept, schematic, and detailed design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with ACI, BS, and local authority regulations.
• Design and model foundations, slabs, beams, columns, and lateral load systems.
• Perform dynamic structural analysis including response spectrum and time-history analysis for seismic and wind loading.
• Evaluate and design structures for lateral stability, drift control, and vibration performance.
• Apply seismic design principles in accordance with relevant codes (ACI, ASCE 7).
• Carry out design optimization for safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with architectural and MEP teams for design integration.
• Review shop drawings and technical submissions for design compliance (often expected) .
• Provide technical support during design coordination and authority submissions.
• Lead, review, and guide junior engineers’ design work.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 1 0–15 years of experience in structural design consultancy.
• Strong expertise in complex building structures (large-scale preferred).
• Proficient in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 .
• Strong knowledge of ACI, BS, and international design standards.
• Experience in full design cycle (concept to IFC).
• Ability to work independently and lead design packages.
