Job Description:

• Ability to take ownership of projects and manage priorities and Ability to manage project schedules and coordinate submissions with clients.

• Strong coordination and communication skills.

• Ability to mentor junior engineers and guide drafting teams.

• Ability to perform structural analysis and design of buildings structures using applicable codes and standards (Thailand Ministerial Regulations under the Building Control Act, ACI, AISC, as well as Thai standards for earthquake and wind design and other internation code.)

• Prepare detailed structural drawings in all packages, calculation reports, and design documentation.

• Issue design drawings for various stages including EIA, permission, tender, and construction (For Construction) documents.

• Respond to site inquiries such as RFIs (Request for Information) when needed.

• Attend site visits upon request, including participation in monthly site meetings.

• Review and ensure compliance with Thai building codes and ministerial regulations in all structural designs.

• Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of design deliverables, ensuring high standards.

• Support the Team to meet project deadlines and deliverables efficiently.

• Can present to client to explain technical solution Cleary.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Other Related tasks when needed.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering (A major in Structural Engineering will be an advantage.)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in structural design, preferably in building and industrial sectors.
• Holder of an Associate Engineer license.
• Good understanding of the design process, including both structural analysis and drawing preparation.
• Strong knowledge of structural design codes, laws, and regulations, such as the Thailand Ministerial Regulations under the Building Control Act, ACI, AISC, as well as Thai standards for earthquake and wind design and global code and standard.
• Strong knowledge of structural building performance and analysis of building resisting earthquake.
• Proficiency in structural analysis & design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, Robot, etc.
• Experience in preparing design drawings & calculations (including Design Report for permission and Construction Drawing.)
• Experience reviewing structural drawings and calculations.
• Can lead the building team
• Able to use AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for engineering calculations and data analysis.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office applications.
• Good coordination skills with Architects, MEP engineers, Owners, and Contractors.
• Good communication & teamwork skills; able to present and explain technical solutions clearly.
• Good command of English.
• Able to work well under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Software Skills: AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, ETABS, SAFE and SAP2000 (CSI Programs.)
