Senior Structural Engineer

Ashley & Vance Engineering is looking for Structural Engineers to join our team in our Middleburg Heights, OH office location.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design & Technical Execution: Execute complex structural analysis, perform calculations, and prepare sketches and drawings for the design of various structural facilities.
• Project Leadership: Take the lead on diverse projects, including commercial and residential developments, infrastructure improvements, and large-scale public works initiatives.
• Engineering Judgment: Make sound technical decisions independently or in collaboration with the Engineer of Record (EOR).
• Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate and coordinate directly with clients, external consultants, and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Project Management: Manage project schedules, deliverable timelines, and workflow progress to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural concentration.
• Experience: 6+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Sector Experience: Experience in Public Works, DSA (Division of the State Architect), and/or HCAI (Department of Health Care Access and Information) projects is required.
• Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
