Senior Structural Engineer

We are growing into new markets within Europe. That is why we are looking for a Senior Facade Structural Engineer to join our team of pragmatic visionaries.

Your future role

You will be responsible for the structural design of façade projects, from first calculations to final technical documentation:

• Structural analysis: Developing structural concepts, assessing loads, running advanced FE analyses and code checks, using AI tools to support safe and sustainable design.
• Problem solving: Developing new technical solutions when standard system solutions don’t meet project requirements.
• Design documentation: Preparing technical documentation and submissions in line with standards and project requirements.
• Technical leadership: Reviewing and mentoring other engineers, planning team tasks and improving our internal standards and tools.
• Collaboration: Representing Staticus in design meetings with architects, contractors, clients and suppliers.

What do we expect from you?

• Industry Knowledge and Education: A university degree in Structural Engineering and at least 6 years of experience in façade structural design.
• Technical skills: Excellent knowledge of Eurocodes. Strong skills in wind load assessment and in frame, glass and fastener calculations. Understanding of building physics.
• Software: Confident use of Dlubal RFEM or similar, SJ Mepla and AutoCAD. Knowledge of Flixo, Insul or similar building physics tools is an advantage.
• Independence: Ability to lead a project part independently and support less experienced engineers.
• Communication: English at B2 level or higher, including technical terminology.
• Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate in English (B2 level).
• Project Management Skills: The ability to manage projects effectively, including coordinating your activities with multidisciplinary teams, adhering to project timelines, and ensuring deliverables meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.
