Senior Structural Engineer - Commercial & Mining Projects

The Opportunity

We're currently working with several established engineering consultancies across Perth that are continuing to invest in their Structural Engineering teams.

With ongoing demand across the buildings, infrastructure and resources sectors, we're recruiting Structural Engineers for a range of permanent opportunities.

• Structural assessments, remediation and upgrade works

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver structural design across a range of building, infrastructure and industrial projects
• Manage projects from concept design through to detailed documentation and construction support
• Prepare and review structural calculations, reports and design documentation
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Mentor graduate and intermediate engineers where appropriate
• Contribute to technical excellence, project delivery and client relationships
• Work collaboratively within experienced structural engineering teams

About You

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5+ years' consulting experience
• Experience across commercial buildings, institutional, industrial or mining structures
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete and structural steel design
• Experience with structural analysis software such as SpaceGASS, ETABS, RAM Concept, Strand7 or similar
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• CPEng or working towards Chartership is advantageous
