Senior Structural Engineer - Steel

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of steel structures, including industrial buildings, warehouses, sheds, platforms, and other steel structures.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, and engineering drawings.
• Ensure compliance with relevant international codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, project managers, and fabrication teams.
• Review and approve shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and connection details.
• Provide technical support to estimation, detailing, production, and site installation teams.
• Review design modifications and resolve technical issues during fabrication and installation.
• Ensure structural stability, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness of designs.
• Review material specifications, connection designs, and fabrication requirements.
• Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in structural steel design and engineering.
• Strong experience in structural steel fabrication projects, industrial buildings, and steel structures.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and structural steel detailing software such as Tekla Structures is an advantage.
• Good understanding of international design codes, connection design, and steel fabrication processes.
• Ability to read, review, and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• UAE experience is preferred.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
