Senior Structural Foreman

The purpose and role of a Senior Structural Foreman is to ensure the delivery of structural elements of the project safely, on time, within budget and snag free, responsible for scheduling, coordinating and supervising site operatives, organise site teams, control construction activities related to structural elements of the project, responsible for placing of material & plant orders timeously, coordinating & implementation companies SHE procedures & policies, ensure implementation of the companies QMS procedures & policies, ensure that a quality product is achieved according to project specifications and good building practice. Will be required to do work within your abilities from time to time that is outside the Job Description as detailed above.

Key Performance Areas

Ensuring overall implementation and maintenance of HSE measures in the work area.

Taking complete Responsibility &Accountability for the overall quality compliance of all areas under his/her control

Drives the construction process on site

Executes the project plan and programme

Collaborates with stakeholders and ensures good relations

Supervisors workforce, people development and healthy industrial relations

Academic Qualification

National Senior Certificate

Occupational Health and Safety Course

Years of Experience

15 Years + Technical Experience

10 Years + Managerial Experience

Professional Registration and Statutory appointment

Statutory Appointment 7(8) Construction Supervisor

Plan, implement and manage construction tasks and activities in accordance with priorities and goals

Manage and monitor labour and subcontractors performance and attendance

Produce 2 weekly programme and resource schedules in line with project programme

Adhere to relevant safety regulations

Implementation of QCP inspections and checklist sign off's
