Overview:

A leading GC is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations for a large-scale senior living construction project in the Bel Air, MD market. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction professional who thrives on managing subcontractors, schedules, and quality control on a complex, multi-building project from groundbreaking through closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all on-site construction activities for a ~$50M senior living project, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel across multiple building types (independent living, assisted living, and/or memory care)
• Enforce jobsite safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
• Maintain project schedules and proactively identify/resolve delays across a phased, multi-building site
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to plans and specifications, including attention to resident-facing finishes and life-safety systems
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers/Project Executives on budget, procurement, and scheduling
• Coordinate with ownership and operations teams around occupancy-sensitive phasing and turnover requirements
• Lead weekly subcontractor and safety meetings
• Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation

Qualifications:

• 7-10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, with senior living, multifamily, or healthcare project experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing projects in the $30M-$75M+ range
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Local to or willing to be based in Bel Air, MD
