To be successful for this role you will have:

• Demonstrated experience supervising maintenance, construction or building projects.
• Strong capability in preparing estimates, quotations, tender documentation and trade packages.
• Experience managing contractors and delivering projects within time and budget requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, customer service and communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of building inspections, condition assessments and maintenance delivery.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and a current Driver's License.
• Trade qualification and White Card highly regarded.

The Senior Supervisor plays a key role in the delivery of maintenance, construction and building improvement projects across the Mackay region. Responsible for coordinating project activities, managing contractors and overseeing project delivery, this position supports a range of works including housing upgrades, vacant property remediation, fire recovery projects and demolitions. 

Working closely with clients, stakeholders and project teams, you will prepare estimates and tender documentation, conduct inspections and assessments, and provide leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The role requires strong communication, sound decision-making and the ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced operational environment.
