Senior Supply Chain Executive

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Executive to join TOA Electronics (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in optimising our supply chain operations and driving operational excellence across the organisation. As a Senior Supply Chain Executive, you will be responsible for managing procurement, inventory, and logistics functions to ensure seamless operations and support the company's strategic growth objectives. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the efficiency and profitability of our supply chain network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with company objectives and market demands
• Oversee procurement processes, including supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation and contract management to achieve cost optimisation and quality standards
• Manage inventory levels across facilities, ensuring optimal stock availability whilst minimising carrying costs and waste
• Coordinate with logistics and distribution partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and finished products
• Monitor supply chain performance through key metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports and recommendations for continuous improvement
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that enhance supply chain efficiency
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and best practices in supply chain management
• Mentor and supervise junior supply chain staff, fostering professional development and a culture of excellence
• Analyse market trends and supply chain risks to provide strategic recommendations to senior management

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement or logistics within the manufacturing or electronics industry
• Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives and improving supply chain efficiency
• Strong expertise in supplier management, contract negotiation and procurement processes
• Advanced knowledge of inventory management systems and supply chain software solutions
• Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting
• Experience in demand planning, forecasting and inventory optimisation
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members
• Knowledge of SAP systems and supply chain management software is an advantage
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
