What they need

About A2B’s Client:

We are partnered with a well-established, global organisation operating within the renewable energy and infrastructure sector, supporting the delivery of large-scale projects across North America and internationally.

As the business continues to expand its operations and invest in new technologies, they are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to oversee supply chain execution across complex, high-value projects.

This is an opportunity to join a market-leading organisation experiencing significant growth, with a strong international presence and continued investment in its US operations.

Role Overview:

This is a highly visible position responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain execution across multiple projects, ensuring materials, suppliers, production schedules and logistics activities remain aligned with customer commitments.

The successful candidate will act as the primary supply chain point of contact for assigned projects, working closely with project management, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, planning and logistics teams to ensure successful delivery.

We’re looking for someone who combines strong operational supply chain experience with the ability to manage competing priorities, anticipate risks and drive solutions in a complex, fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end supply chain execution for assigned projects, ensuring materials, production schedules and delivery timelines align with contractual commitments.
  • Act as the primary supply chain point of contact for project management, commercial teams and other key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, planning and logistics teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Oversee material planning, supply allocation and delivery schedules to ensure alignment between customer requirements and operational capabilities.
  • Monitor supplier performance, material availability and production readiness, proactively identifying and resolving potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Drive on-time shipment and delivery performance, ensuring customer commitments are consistently achieved.
  • Identify and mitigate risks relating to supplier capacity, material shortages, production constraints and changing project requirements.
  • Manage supply and demand alignment, resolving discrepancies between purchase orders, sales orders and project delivery schedules.
  • Utilise ERP and supply chain planning systems to maintain accurate project information, material requirements and delivery forecasts.
  • Work closely with logistics teams to coordinate shipment schedules and ensure compliance with contractual delivery requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on improving supply chain efficiency, planning accuracy and overall project delivery performance.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to strengthen supply chain visibility, reduce operational risks and improve delivery predictability.
  • Provide regular updates to key stakeholders regarding project progress, supply chain performance, potential risks and mitigation plans.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business or a related discipline. An engineering background is highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience within supply chain management, operations, planning or project delivery, ideally gained within a large, established organisation.
  • Strong experience managing end-to-end supply chain activities within complex manufacturing, construction, infrastructure or project-based environments.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of supply chain execution across multiple projects, ensuring materials and delivery schedules remain aligned with customer commitments.
  • Experience working within large-scale manufacturing or industrial supply chain operations, with exposure to complex supplier networks and operational requirements.
  • Strong understanding of material planning, production scheduling, supplier management, inventory management and logistics coordination.
  • Experience managing supplier performance, identifying supply chain risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, planning, logistics and project management.
  • Experience managing project delivery performance, including on-time shipment and on-time delivery targets.
  • Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOM), New Product Introduction (NPI), lead times and supply/demand planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using ERP systems, planning tools and supply chain reporting platforms. Knowledge of Anaplan would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and resolve complex operational challenges.
  • Experience within renewable energy, construction, infrastructure or industrial manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where project priorities and customer requirements may evolve.

Why This Opportunity?

  • Join a market-leading global organisation experiencing significant growth and expansion.
  • Play a critical role in the successful delivery of large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Take ownership of complex supply chain activities with direct influence over project delivery and customer outcomes.
  • Work alongside experienced professionals across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing and operations.
  • Gain exposure to large-scale international supply chain operations and strategically important projects.
  • High visibility across multiple business functions, with regular interaction with senior stakeholders.
  • Competitive base salary, alongside bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Long-term career development opportunities within an established, growing international organisation.
