Job Title: Supply Chain Transformation Lead

Salary: £100,000 to £130,000 depending on experience

Location: Central London, hybrid (three days in the office, two from anywhere)

Why this role

A fast-growing renewable energy business has reached the point where the way it buys, stores and delivers its equipment has to change. It needs someone who has led that kind of transformation recently, in the modern era of AI and automation, and lived with the results.

The whole job comes down to one moment. A delivery made up of many different parts, from different manufacturers, arrives with the customer on the day it was promised. Complete, correct and undamaged, every time, at a volume that keeps climbing.

What you'll do

Reporting to the COO, you will lead the transformation of supply chain and fulfilment from end to end. You will decide how demand is forecast, how stock is held and how mixed orders reach the customer on time. Keep the current partners, move to a 3PL model or bring parts of it in house. You make the call.

You will negotiate with a focused group of manufacturers, build real resilience into supply, and put AI and automation to work wherever a person should not need to be involved. You will also lead a small operations and planning team through the change, and grow it as the business grows.

About you

Sector experience is not required. Renewable energy experience is not required either. We care far more about what you have changed than where you changed it, whether that was logistics, retail, grocery, e-commerce, telecoms, distribution or manufacturing.

What matters is that you have led genuine supply chain transformation in the last few years. You have got multi-item orders to customers inside a fixed delivery window. You have worked closely with 3PL partners. You use AI and digital tools every day, not just in a strategy deck. You bring real energy and you care about getting to net zero.
