- Carrying out staff observations and helping implement changes where needed.
- Supporting individuals with personal care, medication, finances and daily living activities.
- Encouraging independence, healthy choices and the development of new skills.
- Supporting individuals to enjoy walks, swimming, day trips, shopping and other community activities.
- Assisting with meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
- Completing accurate daily records, shift planners, handovers and medication documentation.
- Promoting safeguarding, dignity, respect and equality in everything you do.

- Caring, compassionate and committed to person-centred support.
- Confident, positive and professional, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in a residential care setting.
- Comfortable using IT systems and completing accurate records.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and able to support and motivate colleagues.
You’ll need a Care Certificate, or be willing to complete one when you start, alongside basic Maths and English skills.
Experience supporting people with autism and learning disabilities, and knowledge of adult safeguarding, would be an advantage. A Health and Social Care qualification, such as an NVQ, is desirable, as is a full UK driving licence.
