You will support clients to achieve their personal goals, develop daily living skills, participate in their communities and exercise choice and control over their lives. You will also contribute to the smooth operation of our SIL homes through effective communication, accurate documentation, shift handovers, appointment coordination and escalation of risks or concerns.

- Capacity building: Help clients develop practical life skills, including cooking, budgeting, shopping, communication and self-management.
- Community participation: Support clients to access social, recreational, educational and community activities that reflect their goals and interests.
- Provide supervision and mentorship: To support staff to maintain service standards and foster team development.
- Senior support responsibilities: Work alongside the Area Manager to promote consistent support delivery, effective handovers, task completion and quality service practices.
- Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate progress notes, incident reports, medication records, appointment forms and other required documentation.
- Stakeholder communication: Communicate professionally with colleagues, families, Support Coordinators, allied health practitioners and other relevant stakeholders.
- Safety and compliance: Identify and escalate risks, follow restrictive practice requirements, maintain safe environments and uphold Ello Care’s zero-tolerance approach to abuse, neglect and harm.
- Household and resource management: Support safe household operations, monitor supplies, report maintenance issues and assist clients with financial tasks in line with their goals and organisational procedures.
