POSITION: Senior System Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Senior System Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions. The successful candidate will lead system analysis initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, design scalable solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. This role requires strong analytical thinking, leadership capabilities, and extensive experience in enterprise application development and system integration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Analysis

• Lead in-depth analysis of complex business requirements, systems, and operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement and digital transformation.
• Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments, and gap analyses for new initiatives and system enhancements.
• Research emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with business leaders and product stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Support the development and maintenance of technology roadmaps and system modernization strategies.

Business & Requirements Analysis

• Facilitate requirement gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews, and business process analysis sessions.
• Elicit, document, validate, and manage functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and System Requirement Specifications (SRS).
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications for development teams.
• Analyze and optimize end-to-end business workflows and user journeys.

Solution Design & System Architecture

• Design scalable, reliable, and secure system solutions that meet both business and technical requirements.

• Define application architecture, database design, integration architecture, and system workflows.

• Create system diagrams including:

  • Use Case Diagrams
  • Process Flow Diagrams
  • Sequence Diagrams
  • Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD)
  • Data Flow Diagrams (DFD)
  • Integration Architecture Diagrams

• Collaborate with software architects and technology teams to establish technical standards and best practices.

• Ensure solution designs consider scalability, maintainability, performance, and security requirements.

System Integration & API Management

• Analyze and design integrations between internal and external systems.
• Define API specifications, interface contracts, and data exchange requirements.
• Work closely with development teams to implement RESTful APIs, web services, middleware, and third-party system integrations.
• Ensure data consistency, system interoperability, and integration performance.

Project Delivery & Implementation

• Lead analysis activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, Developers, QA Engineers, and Business Users.
• Support Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, user story refinement, and sprint reviews.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, timeline commitments, and business expectations.

Quality Assurance & User Acceptance Testing

• Define test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployment activities.
• Validate delivered solutions against business requirements.
• Assist users during UAT and manage defect resolution processes.
• Ensure smooth transition into production environments.

Technical Leadership & Mentoring

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior System Analysts and Development teams.
• Review system design documents and technical specifications.
• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
• Act as a trusted advisor for technical and business stakeholders.
• Drive best practices in requirements management, documentation, and solution design.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and business-friendly manner.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate decision-making processes.
• Present solution proposals, project updates, and recommendations to senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, Solution Analyst, or related role.
• Experience working with enterprise-scale applications and complex business processes.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end software development projects.
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, ERP, fintech, SaaS, B2B platforms, or enterprise systems is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
