SENIOR SYSTEM ANALYST

The Role

The Role You will own day-to-day support of our ERP. That means resolving user issues, fixing data problems at the database level and keeping the system running smoothly for the business.

Key Responsibilities

· Act as the main ERP subject-matter expert and first escalation point for users in Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Warehouse and Retail Operations

· Investigate and resolve ERP issues end to end, from the user's screen down to the underlying tables, transactions and posting logic

· Write, test and run SQL queries for data extractions, reconciliations and reports

· Understand and document the ERP data model (key tables, relationships and data flows), and keep documentation of fixes and processes up to date

· Monitor and support ERP integrations with POS, e-commerce, WMS and other systems; troubleshoot interface and data-sync failures

· Gather user requirements, map business processes and write clear specifications for enhancements, customisations and reports

· Carry out testing (SIT/UAT) for changes, patches and upgrades, and give post-go-live support

· Train and guide users on correct ERP processes to reduce repeat issues

· Maintain data integrity, access controls and security in the ERP

· Coach junior team members and work with vendors or partners on escalated issues

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent

· At least 5 years of experience in ERP support or systems analysis, with at least 3 years hands-on with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / BC , Oracle Netsuite or others.

· Good understanding of ERP database tables and how front-end transactions map to back-end data

· Working knowledge of ERP modules such as Finance (GL/AP/AR), Inventory, Procurement and Sales

· Experience troubleshooting system integrations or interfaces (e.g. POS, e-commerce, WMS)

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to trace issues to their root cause

· Able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users

· Experience in retail is a strong advantage
