Senior System Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining various server operating systems, middleware, SAN storage, virtualization, and data backup.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) architectures for the system environment.
• Monitoring the system environment, as well as performance and capacity management.
• Troubleshooting various system environment faults and conducting root cause analysis (RCA).
• Establishing baselines and security configurations.
• Writing relevant automation scripts.
• Customizing backup strategies and verifying backup execution status.
• Formulating various professional regulations, standards, and manuals.
• Participate in the bank's daily project planning and construction.
• Track the latest technological developments and propose optimization recommendations.
• Execute other temporary duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above; holding industry-recognized technical certifications is preferred.

• Possess over 3 years of maintenance experience in at least 4 of the following software categories:

  1. Windows Server, SUSE Linux, Red Hat Linux, or Kylin server operating systems.
  2. WebSphere, Liberty, Tomcat, Nginx, or Lander middleware.
  3. VMware or Fusion Compute virtualization.
  4. SAN storage.
  5. NetBackup.

• Proficient in script development using Shell, Python, etc.

• Possess hands-on experience in banking operations and maintenance (O&M).

• Diligent and responsible at work, with the ability to strictly comply with all banking regulations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English (including Mandarin); conversational fluency in Cantonese is preferred.

• Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure.
