Senior System Engineer (On-site / Remote Support) (KL/Penang)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer to design, implement, integrate, and support enterprise IT infrastructure solutions for both internal operations and external customer projects. Strong hands-on technical expertise in enterprise server platforms, SAN/NAS storage systems, virtualization technologies, backup solutions, and disaster recovery environments is required. This role requires the ability to independently plan, deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize complex infrastructure environments while ensuring system availability, performance, scalability, and security.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, system integration, or infrastructure implementation and support
• Proven hands-on experience in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise server, storage, and virtualization solutions
• Experience in independently handling technical implementation and troubleshooting for customer projects
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage technical tasks with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to different enterprise infrastructure environments
• Possess own transport and be willing to travel to customer sites for project assignments when required
