Senior System Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior System Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic technology environment and take a key role in managing, maintaining, and improving complex IT infrastructure. The role includes working with enterprise-scale environments, leading infrastructure projects independently, and ensuring high availability, stability, and performance across on-premises and cloud systems.

What You'll Do

• Manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, storage, backup, and cloud environments.
• Administer VMware environments, including Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI).
• Manage Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, and Microsoft 365.
• Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects, from planning through implementation.
• Develop and maintain advanced PowerShell scripts for automation and infrastructure management.
• Collaborate with development teams to define and implement infrastructure requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues at Tier 2/3 level.
• Support production changes, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Provide technical guidance to IT support teams and technicians.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer in a large enterprise environment with hundreds of servers and thousands of endpoints - Must
• Extensive hands-on experience with VMware and Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) - Must
• Proven experience leading complex IT infrastructure projects independently - Must
• Strong ability to independently develop complex PowerShell scripts - Must
• Experience with VMware vSAN - Advantage
• Experience managing VDI environments - Advantage
• Knowledge of Linux, automation tools, and scripting - Advantage
• Familiarity with network and information security solutions - Advantage
• Experience with enterprise storage and backup systems - Advantage
• Relevant certifications (VMware, MCSA, CCNA, Azure, DevOps) - Advantage
• Strong troubleshooting skills, independent learning abilities, and excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to provide support outside regular working hours when required.
