Senior System Technical Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Organization Leadership and People Management

• Lead and manage an engineering organization of 8–10 engineers, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and talent development.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing STM team through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and hiring.
• Lead and manage cross-functional R&D teams (EE, ME, Thermal, SW), QE, and Production Engineering (STE/MTE) to ensure successful product development and delivery.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

2. Strategic Customer Engagement

• Communicate effectively in English with senior technical and business leaders from customers primarily based in the Americas and Europe.
• Drive executive-level discussions on product roadmap, technology strategy, platform architecture, and long-term business alignment.
• Build trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders and represent the company in strategic engagements.

3. Business and Program Leadership

• Own end-to-end execution of multiple server development programs, ensuring delivery, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
• Manage engineering resource planning and support business growth initiatives.

4. Technical and Industry Leadership

• Provide technical leadership in server platform development, including AI server technologies.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and translate emerging technologies into engineering strategies.
• Drive technical excellence and engineering best practices across the organization.

5. Organizational Development

• Define engineering strategies, organizational objectives, and execution plans aligned with company business goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, development efficiency, and organizational capability.

Qualifications

1. Experience

• 15+ years of experience in the Server industry.
• 8+ years of people management experience.
• Proven experience managing engineering organizations of 8–10 engineers.
• Experience driving engineering strategy and organizational development.

2. Leadership

• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional engineering organizations in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and organizational leadership skills.
• Proven experience influencing executive stakeholders and driving organizational change.

3. Industry Knowledge

• In-depth understanding of Server architecture, AI server technologies, and current industry trends.

4. Language

Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with executive-level customers and global stakeholders.
