Senior Systems Administrator | Gills Point S Tire & Auto Service

Technology is a big part of how we grow. Gills Point S runs 100+ tire and auto service locations across multiple states, and we’re building an IT team that can scale with us. We’re hiring a Senior Systems Administrator to run and modernize the infrastructure our stores and support teams depend on every day.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You’ll work across cloud, networking, security, automation, and AI. You’ll also take on the hardest technical problems and help shape how IT runs as we add locations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Cloud & Systems

• Own Microsoft 365 administration: Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, licensing, and tenant management
• Manage Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and identity governance
• Run endpoint management through Intune, including deployment, patching, and asset lifecycle
• Maintain hybrid infrastructure across Azure and AWS
• Write PowerShell automation for efficiency, consistency, and reporting

Network, VoIP & Security

• Support multi-site networks: firewalls, switches, wireless, VPN, and DNS
• Administer and troubleshoot enterprise VoIP
• Monitor performance, reliability, and uptime across locations
• Support security operations, including endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, and audits aligned to NIST

Automation & AI

• Administer Microsoft Copilot and other approved AI tools
• Build workflow automation with Power Automate, PowerShell, and RMM tools
• Find manual processes and replace them with solutions that scale
• Support future integration and data connectivity work

Leadership & Projects

• Serve as Tier 2/3 escalation for complex issues
• Mentor junior IT staff and strengthen documentation and process
• Lead infrastructure projects, technology rollouts, and acquisition integrations
• Help set the standards that let IT keep pace with company growth

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Required

• 4+ years of progressive experience in systems administration, infrastructure, networking, or cloud
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune
• Microsoft 365 administration certification (MS-102 preferred, or equivalent)
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
• Comfortable solving complex technical issues on your own
• Solid grasp of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices

Preferred

• Azure and/or AWS administration experience
• CCNA, Network+, Security+, or related certifications
• Experience with NIST or ITIL frameworks
• VoIP administration experience
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, enterprise AI platforms, or workflow automation tools
• Experience supporting multi-site organizations and technology integrations tied to growth or acquisitions

Pay range: $90,000 – $115,000 per year

Location: Preferably EST time zone, primarily remote with light travel
