Senior Systems Analyst

The Role

• Interact directly with business partners to define, analyze, and document requirements, as well as set priorities.
• Act as a champion and trusted advisor for business partners, developing deep knowledge of specific workflows.
• Collaborate with development teams, database architects, and other IT and business teams to determine functional specifications and UI design.
• Develop a strong partnership with the delivery team to ensure on-time, scalable, and high-quality business solutions.
• Provide input into system design, oversee testing phases, and manage production incidents, determining root cause and corrective actions.
• Engage in Vendor/Broker management tasks and work with business teams on project work and enhancements.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related subject.
• 5+ years of business analysis or system analysis experience.
• Understanding of financial instruments such as equities, bonds, swaps, options, futures, forwards, and FX.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills, with high attention to detail.
• Hands-on knowledge of SQL or another relational database technology.
• Experience using project tracking tools like Jira or ServiceNow, and supporting critical production applications.
