JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled ERPNext Developer / Senior Systems Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-level systems that support business operations within a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing ERP functionalities, developing customized solutions, improving system performance, and ensuring seamless integration across business processes.

This position requires strong technical expertise, software architecture knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. System Development & Architecture

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain enterprise-level systems and applications based on business requirements.
• Develop and enhance ERP functionalities to support operational efficiency and business process automation.
• Lead the technical design and development of software solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal system performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established development standards.
• Participate in system architecture discussions and recommend appropriate technologies and implementation strategies.

2. ERP Development & System Integration

• Develop customized modules, workflows, reports, and system enhancements based on operational requirements.
• Integrate ERP systems with other business applications, databases, and third-party platforms.
• Collaborate with different departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and system automation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, integration issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure system reliability, data accuracy, and seamless information flow across business functions.

3. Technical Support & Quality Assurance

• Conduct code reviews, system testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Implement appropriate security protocols and ensure compliance with data protection standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance activities.

4. Collaboration & Technical Leadership

• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, IT personnel, and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and other team members.
• Recommend improvements to existing development processes, coding practices, and system infrastructure.
• Contribute to technology planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or any related field.
• Equivalent professional experience may also be considered.

Experience

• At least 7 years of professional software development experience, preferably involving enterprise-level applications or ERP systems.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex software solutions.
• Experience in ERP development, customization, integration, or implementation is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in providing technical guidance or mentoring junior developers.

Technical Competencies

• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, C++, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of ERPNext, Frappe Framework, or other ERP platforms is highly advantageous.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, system design principles, and development best practices.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, SQL optimization, and database design.
• Proficiency in Git or other version control systems.
• Experience in API development, RESTful services, and system integration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of system security, data protection, and application performance optimization.

Additional Technical Skills (An Advantage)

• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience developing customized ERP modules, workflows, dashboards, and automated reports.
• Knowledge of manufacturing-related ERP processes, including inventory, purchasing, production, warehousing, and finance.
