Senior Systems Engineer

About the role

Senior Systems Engineer role involving system design, implementation, cloud migration, and integration of AD/Azure services with other system components. You will provide technical leadership on migration projects and cloud integration initiatives, troubleshoot system integration issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design or assist in the design of systems and their various components to meet all functional and technical requirements
• Implement integration plans, configuring and assembling system components, involving software installation, hardware setup, and network configuration
• Provide technical leadership and support for migration projects and cloud integration initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AD/Azure services with other system components
• Identify and resolve system integration issues, including hardware compatibility, network connectivity, or system interoperability issues
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the system, including design specifications, installation instructions, and troubleshooting guides
• Provide technical support to clients, involving troubleshooting issues or performing knowledge transfer
• Work closely with vendors, senior engineers, and stakeholders throughout the system development life cycle to ensure all aspects of the system are properly integrated
• Work closely with vendors to ensure system components and integration processes meet relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices

About you

• Possess at least a Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or a relevant field
• At least 3 years of working experience in a relevant field and role
• Working experience in Linux Operating Systems (Ubuntu and RHEL)
• Working experience in Windows AD and Azure AD/Entra ID
• Working experience in virtual computing
• Working experience in cloud computing
• Linux Certification (Ubuntu, RHEL, RHCE, or equivalent)
• Microsoft/Azure or equivalent certification
• Written and spoken language proficiency in English
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, willing to learn, customer-centric mindset, great communicator, and team player with strong sense of responsibility
• Open to candidates currently based in Singapore or Malaysia with existing eligibility for immediate local deployment.
