Responsibilities:

• 90% of work is completed on-site at our customer's facility.
• Provide IT Infrastructure field support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues to the satisfaction of the end-user.
• Install, troubleshoot, and fix desktops, printers, laptops, and other computer peripherals hardware problems as well as desktop applications.
• Troubleshoot issues with systems and networks using good deductive reasoning skills.
• Configure and trouble shoot servers and firewalls
• Vendor management and budgeting
• Handle projects from start to finish.
• Multitask and work with various deadlines.
• Function in stressful environments & situations.

Requirements:

• 7+ years minimum of experience providing IT Infrastructure ownership field support.
• Strong knowledge of business LAN and WAN setups, TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
• Skilled in desktop support and PC break/fix including administration of Windows OS, including Windows Server OS.
• Experience with anti-malware and anti-virus software.
• Strong experience with AD/Entra, Windows Server, VMware, SQL, networking, backup/DR, M365/Intune
• Deep Intune/Autopilot/Entra ID experience— hybrid identity, CA, FIDO2, Win32 apps, BitLocker, Autopatch
• Experience with hypervisors, including Hyper-V and VM Ware.
• Good written and oral communication skills with clients and management as well as people skills.
• CMMC/NIST 800-171/ITAR — POA&M, SPRS, STIG hardening, evidence artifacts is a plus
• Required skills: multi-task, desktop support, server support, malware removal, networking, active directory, exchange, ERP, help desk, and organized.
• You must have reliable transportation. Client sites are located throughout the Chicago suburbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
