Job Description We're building a new IT systems team, and we're looking for a hands-on Senior System Engineer to help shape it from the ground up. This is not just a "keep the lights on" role. You'll rethink how we automate, bring modern AI tools into our daily operations, and make signing in both easier and more secure for our employees worldwide.

You'll work in a global hybrid environment, working towards a cloud-first vision where ops and systems work go hand in hand. You'll own projects end to end, act as an escalation point for our IT Ops team, and mentor them with tools, guides, and know-how.

The Impact You'll Make

• Rethink and rebuild our automation stack, finding opportunities to eliminate manual work across IT operations
• Lead the adoption of modern AI tools and solutions, helping the team work smarter day to day
• Improve the identity experience for our users while strengthening security, through passkeys, WebAuthn, and modern login features
• Play a key role in consolidating our identity platforms into Microsoft Entra
• Own projects from planning through delivery, working independently
• Keep our systems up to date, patched, and secure across Windows and macOS endpoints
• Manage access and lifecycle for users, service accounts, and AI agents
• Spot blind spots and pitfalls in our current processes and services, and drive improvements
• Act as an escalation point for the IT Ops team, and step in hands-on when needed
• Mentor the IT Ops team by building tools, writing guides, and sharing knowledge
• Implement, improve, and document policies, procedures, and processes for our IT systems
• Research and evaluate new products and services for deployment
• Manage relationships with external vendors

What You'll Bring To Us

• 6+ years of experience in system administration or a related IT role
• In-depth experience with SAP SuccessFactors
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, including SSO, SAML, and OIDC
• Strong experience with MDM for both Windows and macOS
• Scripting skills for endpoint management and automation (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
• Proven experience with automation tools and platforms (such as Workato)
• Hands-on experience building with AI tools as part of your daily work
• Excellent written and spoken English
• A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies, and comfort working in a fast-changing environment

Nice to have

• Exposure to AI agents and MCP (a strong advantage)
• Experience with passkeys, WebAuthn, or passwordless authentication rollouts
• JumpCloud
• Entra and Google Workspace administration
• AWS
• Windows Server
• Backup systems
• Experience managing and configuring Exchange and/or email systems
• One of the candidate must have
• Active Directory proficiency
